We have delivered and integrated a single-pin decoiler with a capacity of up to 25t into a slitting line for one of the steel service centres in Silesia. The customer has gained new possibilities and increased production capacity.
The maximum unwinding speed from the coil is 140m/min.
The decoiler handles coils with a maximum weight of 25t and a width of 1500mm in the 0.5 – 4.0mm sheet thickness range.
The available inner diameters supported by the decoiler stem are 508 mm and 610 mm using lightweight transition rings of our own design.
The decoiler uses a hydraulic mandrel support, a band edge position control system and a powered pressure roller. The project was carried out thoroughly, and included the integration of power and control systems for the equipment.
